“I drunk too much, loved too hard, too high on you to ever come down”, the singer recalls on the track’s glitzy chorus. Following the release of ‘I Kinda Liked You’ earlier this year, ‘Sad Girls Make Bad Boys Cry’ comes ahead of Edith’s sophomore project.

“This is my summer sad song,” Edith reveals. “I was just thinking how boys usually portray themselves as being bad and breaking girls hearts, like it’s an achievement.”

“I decided that being sad is actually not being weak at all, and yes we can still kill them with our sadness,” she laughs.

Penning tracks since she first found her way to a guitar at 11-years-old, story writing came second nature to the London-based singer. Recent sets across the capital have seen Edith showcase her debut EP and latest tracks to an ever-growing fan-base which has seen streams coming in their thousands.

‘Sad Girls Make Bad Boys Cry’ is streaming now.
